Jaylene Clark is an AUDELCO-winning actress, spoken word poet, playwright, producer, and director from Harlem, New York City. She is the Executive Director of Harlem KW Project, LLC, a theatre company she founded with Hollis Heath, Janelle Hinnant, and Chyann Sapp. One of her greatest honors is being a first place Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater winner for her spoken word poetry and a Super Top Dog Amateur Night Finalist. Jaylene graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Acting and a minor in Writing. She is currently producing, directing, and performing in, "Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale." For more information please visit the website for the show here. She will also appear as Peaseblossom in Classical Theatre of Harlem's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," by William Shakespeare.

Her creative love for both performance and writing has led her to feature in numerous theatrical productions and compete in various poetry slams, including the "Brave New Voices International Poetry Slam," which she won as part of the 2005 Urban Word Slam Team.

Jaylene will be playing the role of Peaseblossom in the Classical Theatre of Harlem's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, by William Shakespeare!
